Tree maturity
Choose the stage that best describes the tree now, and update it as the tree develops.

- Sapling: establishing its structure and roots.
- Cropping: beginning or actively building a useful crop.
- Mature: an established plant in its ongoing productive stage.
This is a practical planning cue, not a botanical age test. Two trees planted in the same year can be at different stages. Grovekeeper uses the stage alongside species, season and recorded evidence when weighing care.
Change maturity from the tree’s edit form when its situation changes. Keeping it current is more useful than finding a perfect label on the first day.
Record what you actually see, including fruiting, growth and problems, in tree notes or a photo observation.
