Notes on a tree
Save what you actually observed and link it to the right tree.

Observations make the garden’s history useful. Record the date, the relevant tree and what you saw, rather than only a conclusion such as “unhealthy”. New growth, soil moisture, fruit load and the result of a previous job can all matter.
- 1Open Log or start an observation from a tree.
- 2Choose the right tree where the observation is tree-specific. Use the picker or mention suggestions rather than relying on a name in free text.
- 3Write what you observed, add a photo if helpful, and save. Check that the save succeeds.
A garden-wide note and a tree-specific note carry different meaning. If you later discover that a saved fact is wrong, correct the record instead of adding another contradictory note without explanation.
Standing preferences belong in House rules. A one-off observation belongs in the dated log.
