Catching up a tree you added late
Review seasonal care when a tree joins the garden partway through the year.
Last updated 3 November 2026
A new tree can have a season of care behind it that the app has never seen. When a catch-up review is offered on Tasks, it asks about relevant seasonal operations for that tree.
- Done records care you have actually completed.
- Not done lets the review propose applicable work within a useful window.
- Doesn’t apply records why that operation is not relevant to this tree.
Read the operation and its timing before answering. A review should not turn a closed window into an instruction to do work too late. Tree-specific completion evidence belongs to that tree and operation.
You can leave the review for later. It is completed by submitting your answers, not by dismissing the invitation. If the garden changes while you are reviewing, the app may ask you to refresh and review the current operations.
The questions come from the Almanac. Add accurate tree details first, and correct any unsuitable reference advice.
